She is survived by her husband, Charles E. Brett; three children, Bryan Bridges (Wendy), Charles Brett, Jr. (Laura) and Jessica Harrell (Ashley); sister, Shirley Caporelli and brother, Greg Bright. Grammy also leaves six grandkids, Blair, Neil, Emma, Hailey, Seth and Paige. 

The family will receive friends from 3 to 4:30 p. m. Sunday January 11, 2015 in Baker-Foster Funeral Home, Bennett's Creek Chapel, 5685 Lee Farm Lane, Suffolk, VA 23435.
