A lifelong resident of Southampton County, he was born on March 26, 1939 to the late Sarah Gay and Robert Reginald. He proudly served his country first in the Army at Fort Hood, TX and Furth, Germany and later in the Virginia Army National Guard in Franklin. Left to cherish his memory is his son, Christopher Bradshaw and his wife, Stacey of Grizzard, VA; two beloved grandchildren, Madilyn Bradshaw and Paden Vargo; two sisters, Elizabeth B. Perry, of Carrsville and Rubie B. Ehiman and her husband, Robert, of Chesapeake; three brothers, Edward T. Bradshaw and his wife, Kathleen, of Royal Oak, MI, Samuel G. Bradshaw and his wife, Betsy, of Franklin, and Dale Bradshaw and his wife, Kandie, of Hopewell, VA; and numerous beloved nieces and nephews. A graveside funeral with military honors will be held at 11 am Saturday, May 25, 2013 in Rosemont Cemetery, Sedley.
