Kateland Marie Barnes Bradshaw Obituary Kateland Marie Barnes Bradshaw October 21, 1991 - July 28, 2022 Carrsville - On July 28, 2022, our sweet angel Kateland Marie Barnes Bradshaw went to live with her Father at the age of 30. She will be welcomed by her grandparents Joel and Hazel Bradshaw, and Reuben and Rita Vick. Kateland was born on October 21, 1991, the youngest daughter of Phillip and Stella Bradshaw. A lifelong resident of Carrsville, VA, Kateland touched lives throughout the community with her strength, faith, and infectious loving spirit in the face of insurmountable odds. She was an active member of Beaver Dam Baptist Church, the Carrsville Ruritan Club, and the Whaleyville Chapter of Eastern Star. Kateland was also a huge fan of Old Dominion sports, never missing a football game and regularly sitting courtside for Lady Monarchs basketball. She was most known for her love of children and we know in our hearts that she's in heaven now doing her favorite activity, rocking babies. Kateland will continue to be celebrated by her sisters Rebecca Zelman and Malissa Bradshaw, brother Matthew Zelman, nephews Noah and Lucas Zelman, and her "fur family": Scarlett, Belle, and Jinx. Her memory will also live on in her innumerable aunts, uncles, cousins, and family friends. Visitation will be on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at Wright's Funeral Home from 5pm to 8pm. A celebration of her amazing life will be held at Beaver Dam Baptist Church on Sunday, July 31, 2022 at 3pm. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. For the welfare of the family and the larger Carrsville community, we request that you refrain from attending services or visiting the family if you are suffering any COVID-like symptoms or have been potentially exposed to COVID.
