Lifelong resident of Franklin, he was a son of the late Elmer Amos and Lillie Jane Cox Bradshaw. Other than his parents, Mr. Bradshaw was predeceased by a son, Stephen Benjamin Bradshaw; two sisters, Sarah B. Evans and Marian DeBord and brother, Elmer A. Bradshaw, Jr. He was a retired supervisor in the Pulp Mill with Union Camp Corporation with 32 years with the company and a long-time member of Franklin Baptist Church. He was a member of the Sons of the American Revolution, Sons of the War of 1812 - Virginia Society and Sons of Confederate Veterans - Urquhart - Gillette Camp. Survivors include his wife, Ray Poland Bradshaw; son, Burton Cox "Brad" Bradshaw, Jr. and wife, Debby; grandchildren, Burton Cox "Tres" Bradshaw, III (Anne) and Lisa Michelle Bradshaw Biler and one great-grandchild, Burton Cox Bradshaw, IV.
