A native of Isle of Wight County, she was the widow of John Thomas Carr Jr. and was a member of Antioch Christian Church and a lifetime resident of Carrsville. Survivors include four sisters, Mrs. George Carr of Carrsville, George Cutler of Norfolk, Mrs. Garland Duck Sr. and Mrs. John Warren of Franklin; a brother, Willie D. Boykin Jr. of Newport News. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. today in W. J. M. Holland and Son Funeral Home, Franklin by the Rev. Edwin C. Thornton Jr. Burial will be in Antioch Christian Church Cemetery.
