Blythe, 102, mother of 12 By Nelda Knemeyer, Daily Press FRANKLIN Sweetie Lee Blythe, the oldest member of Hunterdale UnitJaned Church of Christ, died Monday, Jan. 10. She was 102. Mrs. Blythe was a lifelong resident of Southampton County and a charter member of the brothHunterdale United Church of Christ Woman's Fellowship. Mrs. Blythe enjoyed a simple life and maintained her own home until her death. One of her daughters said in an interview that her mother never worked outside of the home: "You can't do that when you have 12 children, but she loved yard work much more than housework. She also enjoyed stitching quilts, making aprons, and things like that." Mrs. Blythe, the widow of Charlie M. Blythe, was predeceased by five children. She is survived by a son, Carey H. Blythe of Franklin; six daughters, Virgie B. Harrison of Norfolk, Vina B. Overby and Lola B. Bass of Courtland, Janed ice B. Hollowell of Franklin, Claris B. "Tab" Graham of Portsmouth and Doris B. Holt of Lugoff, S.C.; a half sister, Aldine B. Duck of Suffolk; a half brothHunterdale er, Jessie de Bordnave Blythe of Suffolk; 38 grandchildren, 54 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Wright Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Hunterdale United Church of Christ by the Revs. James X. Camak and Wayne T.
