SUFFOLK - Mrs. Lucy Edwards Bland, 77, of 108¬Ω St. James Ave., died Sunday in Louise Obici Memorial Hospital, Suffolk.

Born in Franklin, she retired from the Buck Hurley Tile Co. She was a member of Oxford United Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband, Ocie Howell Bland; and a sister, Mrs. Helen Talley of Richmond. A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home, Suffolk, by the Rev. Harold Fuss. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Suffolk.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight in the funeral home.
