Mr. Bissett was most recently employed at Pioneer Paving Company, Richmond, and was a former mechanic at both the Lipton Tea Company and Smithfield Packing Company. He was a member of Bethany Presbyterian Church, Zuni, and was a 1966 graduate of Windsor High School. Survived by his wife, Betty Jamerson Bissett of Suffolk; a daughter, Ashley Skye Bissett of Suffolk; a son, Chris Ryan Bissett of Suffolk; his mother, Marjorie Lewis Bissett of Zuni; a sister, Carolyn B. Cobb of Suffolk; and his mother-in-law, Shirley Gray Byrum, also of Suffolk. Funeral 2 p.m. Wednesday at Purviance Funeral Home, Wakefield, by the Rev. Richard Park.
