Barbara Benton, age two months, daughter of Luther Marvin and Mrs. Grace Staples Benton, of 1622 Prentis Avenue, died today at 3 a.m. at a local hospital.  

Besides her parents, she is survived by a brother, Larry Marvin Benton; one sister, Patricia Ann Benton; and maternal grandmother, Mrs. F.F.V. Staples, all of Portsmouth.  

The body was taken to Snellings Funeral Home, where funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 11 a.m. Burial in Olive Branch Cemetery, with the Rev. Neal W. Ellis, pastor of South Street Baptist Church, and the Rev. John W. Wood of Jackson Memorial Baptist Church officiating.
