He was the son of Mrs. Mary Wills Beale and the late James Bogue Beale of Franklin. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Margaret Vick Beale, and one four-year-old son of Franklin; his mother, Mrs. Mary Wills Beale of Franklin; three sisters, Mrs. W.T. Powell (Sevenna May "Maggie S") of Freeman, Mrs. J.C. Bristow (Savinia Mae) of Waverly, and Mrs. Paul Rose (Lina Sue) of Franklin; two brothers, John E. Beale and J. Willard Beale of Franklin. Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at 3:30 o’clock at the Holland Funeral Home with the Rev. R.D. Stephenson officiating. Pallbearers were R.H. Allen, Carlton Cutchin, Oscar Modlin, Joseph Minton, Walter Luther Young, Herbert Saunders, Woodrow Vick, William Hathaway, and Linwood Edwards.
