Mr. Beale, 49, died Tuesday afternoon, 26 March 1957, in Raiford Memorial Hospital after an illness of several months. A lifelong resident and farmer in Southampton County, he was the husband of Mrs. Margaret Frances Turner Beale, and a son of the late Mills and Ella Drake Beale of Southampton County. He was a member of Union Congregational Christian Church. Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, Mills Beale, 3rd, and Irving Denson Beale, both of Franklin; two brothers, Irving D. Beale of Richmond and Emmett Beale of Franklin; two sisters, Mrs. Rena Cobb of Sedley and Mrs. Kate Blythe of Franklin; and a number of nieces and nephews.
