Susan Bauswell Obituary

Susan O. Bauswell 58, of Suffolk, VA went to be with her Heavenly Father on February 27, 2024. She was the daughter of the late Louis Ervan Outlaw and Ann G. Outlaw. 

She was a member of Riverbend Church where she developed an amazing relationship with God. Susan loved spending time at her and Mike's lake house on Lake Gaston for the past four years, especially when family and friends came to visit. She fiercely loved her family and spent many hours gardening. Susan embodied the best of qualities: unconditional love, strength of spirit, and an unending generosity. 

In retirement she enjoyed countless hours jet skiing, sunset pontoon cruises with Mike and enjoying time with her granddaughter. 

Left to cherish her memory are her husband Mike Bauswell; son Chase Bauswell and wife Mary; daughter Whitney Bauswell; Granddaughter Reilly Rhae Bauswell; brother Mark Outlaw and wife Tracy; and many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. 

A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Monday, March 4, 2024, at Riverbend Church 230 Meadow View Blvd, Suffolk, VA 23435 by Pastor Kevin Bauswell. The family will receive visitors prior to the service at 10 AM at the church. The burial will follow the service at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. R. W. Baker & Co.
