Carr, died suddenly at a Norfolk hospital yesterday at 12:40 p. m. Besides her husband and mother, she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Joyce B. Crockett; two sons, Joseph A. Barrett, Jr., Merrill C. Barrett, all of Barrett's Corner, Princess Anne County; two sisters, Mrs. R. B. Spivey, of Norfolk, and Mrs. Roger Duke, of Holland; five brothers, Baxter C. Carr, of Norfolk; Roy Carr, Chester Carr, Lonnie Carr, and John L. Carr, all of Isle of Wight County, and seven grandchildren. Mrs. Barrett was a native of Isle of Wight County, and had been a resident of Princess Anne County for 33 years. She was a member of the Kempsville Baptist Church and Norview Chapter 131, O. E. S. Funeral services will be conducted at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home Friday at 2 p. m. Burial will be Forest Lawn Cemetery.
