Ron was the oldest child of the late Coleman and Helen Barkley. Ron was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, but lived most of his life in Florida and Mississippi. He moved to Milton in 2012. He was a U.S.ArmyVietnam Veteran. He was retired from the Federal Aviation Administration as an Air Traffic Controller. Ron was predeceased by his wife of 38 years, Mitzy Williams Barkley, in 2013. Ron is survived by his son,Adam and grandson, Isaac of Bellingham,WA.; two brothers, Brian Bar- kley of Atlanta,GA, and Bruce Barkley of Phoenix, AZ; and a sister Betheny Jantz of Port St. Lucie, FL. He is further survived by several nieces and nephews, and members of his late wife’s family. Ron will be fondly remembered by family and friends. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
