LACY E. BARKLEY  

ENFIELD – Lacy E. Barkley died in a Richmond hospital Wednesday after a long illness.  

Funeral services will be held from the chapel of the Branch Funeral Home Friday at 3 o'clock, conducted by the Rev. J. Felix Arnold, with the Rev. C. W. Barbee assisting.  

He is survived by his wife, the former Thelma Parker; two sons, Jimmie and Ferdie of the home; two daughters, Mrs. J. S. Callman and Mrs. F. D. Uzzell of Durham; two sisters, Sallie Barkley of Durham and Mrs. J. E. Dodson of Norfolk.  

Mr. Barkley was the son of the late W. E. Barkley of Enfield and Nannie Lacy of Nathalie, Virginia.
