Lucy Atkins Britt, 87, of Wakefield, Va. died Monday, September 23, 1996. Her husband was the late Thomas L. Britt Sr. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs.

Virginia B. Barham and Mrs. Betty Ann Banty, both of Capron; two sons, Samuel L. Britt and Thomas L. Britt Jr., both of Wakefield; a sister, Mrs.

Sarah A. Kea, Ivor, twelve grandchildren and nine Funeral services will be held at Purviance Funeral Home, Wakefield on Wednesday 2 p.m. Burial will be in Wakefield Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Windsor Baptist Church.
