Miss Belle Alcorn

LEAKSVILLE - Miss Belle Alcorn, 72, of 210 Park Avenue, Spray, died at 7:30 a.m. yesterday [3 July 1963] in a Spray nursing home. She had been ill two weeks.

She was born in Rockingham County to William and Mollie Ellington Alcorn.

Surviving are a brother, Roy Alcorn of Spray; four sisters, Mrs. Walter Price of Danville, Va., Mrs. C. B. Beck and Mrs. Cornelia Burwell, both of Spray, and Mrs. James S. Dallas of Leaksville.

The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday [4 July 1963] at Sugg-Harris Funeral Home in Leaksville by the Rev. W. B. Royals and the Rev. L. Gurth Fathergill. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Spray.
