Pauline Elizabeth Yeakle, 96, died Nov. 2, 1996, in Courtland Health Care Center. 

Miss Yeakle was born in Pleasant Valley, Va., and was the daughter of the late Charles Edward and Lucy Jane Bailey Yeakle. She had retired from Roses Department Store and was a member of the High Street United Methodist Church. 

She is survived by two nieces and two nephews, including Steve Malik of Franklin. Miss Yeakle was predeceased by a sister, Lina Malik. 

A graveside funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Riverside Cemetery , Courtland , by the Rev. Edward Johnson. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. today at Wright Funeral Home.
