After retiring as a farmer, Mr. Wills managed several area Southern States Cooperative stores and also retired as manager of Carrsville Farmers Inc. He was a member and deacon of Tucker Swamp Baptist Church in Zuni and was a Navy veteran. Survived by his wife, Alice Nell Branch Wills; two daughters, Robin W. Curle of Windsor and Brenda W. Carr of Carrsville; three sons, Alvah H. Wills Jr. of Wakefield, Larry D. Wills and Barry D. Wills of Windsor; two sisters, Mary H. Purviance of Richmond and Carolyn W. Bryant of Zuni; a brother, A. Floyd Wills Jr. of Virginia Beach; and 10 grandchildren. Visitation from 6:30 to 8:30 tonight at Purviance Funeral Home, Wakefield, and at the residence all other times. Funeral 3 p.m. Sunday at Tucker Swamp Baptist Church, Zuni, by the Revs. Steve Bradshaw and J. Waverly Horne. Burial in church cemetery.
