Mr. Wilkins, born in Isle of Wight County, was the son of the late Selma Butler Wilkins and Willie L. Wilkins. He was a member of Antioch Christian Church, Windsor. He retired in 1970 from Lipton Tea Company in Suffolk after 16 years of service and was an Army veteran of World War II. Survivors include his wife, Virginia Drake Wilkins; one son, Fred L. Wilkins of Windsor; two sisters, Selma B. Wilkins of Suffolk and Freda W. Bradshaw of Franklin; and two granddaughters, Kimberly C. Wilkins and Rebecca M. Wilkins, both of Windsor. A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Sidney F. Harrell Funeral Home, Suffolk, by the Rev. Victor I. Hunter and the Rev. Donald B. Woodby. Burial will be in Windsor Cemetery . The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. today and other times at the home of the son, 21463 Garrison Drive, Windsor.
