Mrs. Watkinson, a lifelong resident of Courtland , was a daughter of the late Ezra and Anna Gillette Davis and the widow of Paige Watkinson. She graduated from Courtland High School in 1937 and attended Mary Washington College. She was a retired magistrate and postal worker and a member of the Courtland United Methodist Church. She is survived by a daughter, Patti Watkinson-Hancock and her husband, Dennis, of Sedley; three sons and their wives, Harwood ``Woody'' Paige Jr. and Carol Watkinson of Vero Beach, Fla., William Penn and Geanne Watkinson of Chapel Hill, N.C., Wayne Preston and Brenda Watkinson of Richmond; three sisters, Betty Joyner and Anna Thweatt of Courtland , Jane Colglazier of Baltimore, Md.; and six grandchildren, Michael, David, Sarah and M. Paige Watkinson, Shane and Rachael Hancock. She was predeceased by a sister, Mary Gilbert, and three brothers, Gillette, Garland and William Davis. A funeral will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Thursday in Courtland United Methodist Church by the Rev. Robert Parks. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery . The family will receive friends at the residence, 22341 Main St., Courtland , from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today and suggests that memorial donations be made to the Courtland United Methodist Church or Courtland Little League Baseball.
