Obituary of Shirley Warren SHIRLEY WARREN Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Thursday, July 31, 1997 Shirley Warren, 62, of the 18000 block of Line Pine Road, died July 30, 1997, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. Mr. Warren was a native of Southampton County and was the son of the late Shafter and Ada McClenney Warren. He had retired as a mechanic at Tidewater Equipment Co. He was a Baptist, a member of the Black Creek Hunt Club and an avid fan of the Burdette Station band. He is survived by three sons, Wayne, Alan and Keith Warren, all of Franklin; sister, Susie Mae Wyatt of Smithfield; two brothers, Earl Warren of Franklin and Melvin Warren of Colonial Heights; and two grandchildren, Rebecca Jean and Kayla Starr Warren. A graveside funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in Southampton Memorial Park by the Rev. William Hawkins. The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. in Wright Funeral Home, Franklin.
