Mary Ellen Bradshaw Wade, 96, of Franklin, died on Nov. 13, 1993, in Southampton Memorial Hospital. Mamie was married to the late George Washington Wade, and they were in the dairy business for many years. She was a member of the Franklin Congregational Christian Church.  

Mrs. Wade is survived by two daughters, Ella Meredith Wade Watson and Mary Ellen Wade Atkinson, both of Franklin; four grandsons, J. Belin Watson, George W. Watson and Frank G. Watson, all of Franklin and Hal S. Atkinson of Raleigh, N.C.; 14 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.  

The graveside service will be held at Poplar Spring Cemetery at 3 p.m. today, Nov. 15, 1993, by the Rev. James W. Browder III and Dr. Ira D. Hudgins. Wright Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
