Mr. Junius Lysandra Wade, age 69, a resident of Ivor, died on Saturday, March 5, 1994, in his home. Mr. Wade was a native of Southampton County, and was the son of the late L.L. Wade. He was a member of the Ivor Baptist Church. 

He is survived by his wife, Gladys Blythe Wade, and one son, Ronald J. Wade, both of Ivor; his mother, Virgie Bradshaw Wade of Franklin; three sisters, Louise Story of Suffolk, Eunice Sorrell of Ocean View and Virginia Roughton of Franklin; four grandchildren, Tony McCausley of Suffolk, Sean Wade of Ivor, Teresa McCausley of Hampton and Jaclyn Wade of Ivor; one great-grandchild, Ryan McCausley of Virginia Beach. 

A funeral service will be held at Purviance Funeral Home, Wakefield, on Tuesday, March 8, 1994 at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Larry Burkhart and the Rev. Wayne Underwood. Burial will be at the Ivor Cemetery following the service. The family will receive friends at Purviance Funeral Home, Wakefield, on Monday, March 7, 1994, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Ivor Rescue Squad.
