Virginia Edwards Vick, 78, of the 5600 block of Tidewater Drive, died March 9, 1993, in a Norfolk hospital. 
Mrs. Vick was born in Southampton County, Va., and was a member of Branchville United Methodist Church. She was formerly employed in Special Services at Norfolk Naval Base. She was the widow of Gilbert Lee Vick. 
Survivors include two daughters, Evelyn V. Muntford of Norfolk and Cynthia V. Miller of Virginia Beach; one son, Thomas E. Bass Jr. of Ashland, Va.; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. 
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Beechwood Cemetery, Boykins, by the Rev. Donna Marie Foos. Friends may join the family from 7:30 to 9 p.m. today in McDowell Funeral Home, Boykins. 
Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.
