Elizabeth Baker Vick, 85, of 19186 Plank Road, died Dec. 19, 1993, in her home. 

Mrs. Vick was a native of Northampton County, N.C., and was the widow of John E. Vick. She was a member of Courtland Baptist Church and Story Bible Class. She was a Mission Friends Leader. She was a loving wife, friend and mother. She was an avid gardener and was a bank teller for 14 years for Roanoke-Chowan Bank of Roxobel, N.C. 

She is survived by her daughter, Sallie Alberta Vick of Courtland ; two sisters, Mary Baker White of Aulander, N.C., and Edna Baker Burkett of Ahoskie, N.C.; a brother, W. June Baker of Rocky Mount, N.C.; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 21, 1993, in the Holland-Rideout Funeral Chapel by Dr. Gary Powell and the Rev. James W. Browder III. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery , Courtland . The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7 to 8 p.m.
