 Joseph Raymond Vick Sr., 76, of East Pavilion in Frankin, died Feb. 9, 1993. 
Mr. Vick, a native of Conway, N.C., was a retired boiler operator for the Beale Packing Co. 
Survivors include his wife, Christine Simmons Vick; two daughters, Shirley V. Jaffe of Boykins and Dorothy V. Bailey of Courtland; one son, Joseph Raymond Vick Jr. of Franklin; five sisters, Lizzie Hingerty, Frances Jones and Jeanette Edwards, all of Suffolk, Lessie Deans of Murfreesboro, N.C., and Mary Katherine Andrews of Marco, Fla.; one brother, Rubin P. Vick of Courtland; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. 
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in McDowell Funeral Home, Boykins, by the Rev. Kenneth Williams. Burial will be in Beechwood Cemetery, Boykins. Visitation will be held tonight from 7 to 9 p.m. in the funeral home.
