He was a member of Newsoms Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Annie Maude "Sally" Ferguson Vick; two daughters, Brenda V. Darden of Suffolk and Wendy V. Lee of Courtland; three sons, Jackie D. Vick, Dennis C. Vick and Timmy B. Vick, all of Courtland; a sister, Jean V. Thomas of Richmond; three brothers, Bobby Vick and Melvin Vick, both of Franklin, and Clifton Vick of Courtland; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in Hollywood Cemetery, Newsoms, by the Rev. Kenneth Williams and the Rev. Charlene Beethoven. Friends may join the family from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today in Wright Funeral Home, Franklin.
