 Lelia Copeland Turner, 97, of Wilson Street died Dec. 30, 1991, in a Franklin hospital. 
Mrs. Turner was born in Buckhorn. She was a member of Holland Baptist Church, Suffolk. She was the widow of Samuel W. Turner. 
Survivors include a daughter, Virgie T. Barnes of Boykins; four sons, William S. Turner of Rock Hill, S.C., Edward T. Turner of Franklin, Jessie F. Turner of Scranton, Pa., and James G. Turner of Brunswick, Ga.; 14 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. 
The graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Beechwood Cemetery by the Rev. Phil Motley. McDowell Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
