 Edward Thomas Turner, 64, died Saturday, Sept. 9, 1995. 
Mr. Turner was born in Nansemond County and was the son of the late Samuel and Lelia Copeland Turner. He was retired and was an Army veteran. 
Survivors include his wife, Virginia Miller Turner; two daughters, Irma Elizabeth Brown of Virginia Beach and Sheila Marie Turner of Franklin; one son, Edward Thomas Turner Jr. of Franklin; one sister, Virgie Mae Barnes of Boykins; three brothers, Samuel Turner of South Carolina, Jimmy Turner of Georgia and Jessie Turner of Pennsyvlania; six grandchildren, Brooks Turner, Justin Turner, Shannon Brown, Jason Brown, Jessica Turner and Skyler Turner; and his ex-wife, Addie L. Turner. 
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Beechwood Cemetery, Boykins, by Dr. Ira D. Hudgins. The family will receive friends at Wright Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m. today.
