Obituary of FRANK ROYAL TAYLOR The Virginian Pilot - 10-31-1993 Frank Royal Taylor, 77, of the 200 block of N. Liberty Spring Road, died Oct. 30, 1993, in Hillhaven Convalescent Center, Suffolk. Mr. Taylor was born in Gates County, N.C. He retired as a boilermaker from Newport News Shipyard after 30 years and had been retired for 20 years. Survivors include his wife Helen Tidwell Taylor; two stepdaughters, Judith H. O'Neal of Suffolk and Hope H. Meadows of Gates County, N.C.; a son, Charles Taylor of Texas; a sister, Gladys T. Baines of Suffolk; two step grandchildren; a step great-grandchildren; and a niece, Mary Virginia Eure of Gates County, N.C. A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Liberty Spring Christian Church Cemetery by the Rev. Kenneth E. Pepper and the Rev. Joseph A. Talley.
