A native and former resident of Franklin, she was the daughter of the late Vernon Cobb and Julia Etta Blythe Presson. She was predeceased by her first husband, Lawrence F. Joyner. She is survived by her husband, Thomas Ray Stevens of Farnham; two daughters and sons-in-law, June and J.R. Forrest of Franklin, and Elaine and Hunter White of Colonial Heights; four sons and daughters-in-law, Bruce and Debbie Joyner of Hephziba, Ga., and Vernon and Jane Joyner, Walter and Susie Joyner, and Michael and Joyce Joyner, all of Franklin; a brother, Freddie N. Presson of Courtland; 30 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Wright Funeral Home by the Rev. Pat B. Tony. The family will receive friends at the funeral home at 7 p.m. Monday and other times at the home of June and J.R. Forrest, 22173 Sedley Road, Franklin.
