Lucille Braswell Stafford, 75, of Hunterdale Road, died Nov. 29, 1996, in Southampton Memorial Hospital. 

Mrs. Stafford was a native of Roanoke Rapids, N.C., and was the daughter of the late Robert and Mamie Moore Braswell. She was the widow of Lloyd Stafford. Mrs. Stafford was owner and president of Brady's Jewel Box and was a member of the Hunterdale United Church of Christ. 

She is survived by a daughter, Carolyn Ackerman of Windermere, Fla.; a sister, Dorothy Stewart of Roanoke Rapids, N.C.; two grandchildren, Kimberly A. West and Chester S. Ackerman; and a great-granddaughter, Emily Paige West. 

The graveside funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. today in Southampton Memorial Park by the Rev. Dr. Alan R. W. Campbell. Donations may be made to the Southampton Memorial Hospital Tree of Lights, 100 Fairview Drive, Franklin, Va. 23851. Wright Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
