Swink Howard Solomon, 82, of Capron, died Dec. 27, 1992. 

Mr. Solomon was born in Winston-Salem, N.C., and lived most of his life in Chicago before retiring to Florida. He had retired as a regional sales manager for International Paper Co. He was a Baptist. 

Survivors include a sister, Lucy S. Linthicum of Atlanta; and several nieces and nephews. 

A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Capron Cemetery by the Rev. Louis Martin. The family will be at the home of Vernie W. Francis Sr., 23165 Main St., Capron. Wright Funeral Home has charge of arrangements. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a favorite charity.
