Mr. Snavley was born in Draper and was employed by Perdue. He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War and Vietnam War and retired after 20 years. He was a member of Masonic Lodge AF & AM Purdie 170 and the Khedive Temple AAONMS of Norfolk. Survivors include his wife, Anne Sessions Snavley; two daughters, Karen S. Renfro and Kathy S. Spear, both of Windsor; a son, Michael T. Snavley of Albuquerque, N.M.; five sisters, Jane S. Hurst of Salem, Louise S. Burgess of Lancaster, Ky., Dorothy S. Reece of Hillsville, Ruth S. Rupe of Draper and Rachel S. Conley of Stephenson, W.Va.; and four grandchildren. The graveside service with military honors will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in Windsor Cemetery by the Rev.
