Mrs. Dorothy Hunnings Scott, 72, of Dale Circle died Aug. 19, 1994. 

Mrs. Scott was born in Beaufort County, N.C., and was the widow of Jesse Hobson Scott. Mrs. Scott had retired as the snack bar hostess at Southampton Memorial Hospital and was a member of Hunterdale United Church of Christ and its Senior Citizens Group. 

Survivors include three daughters: Wilma S. Stone of Longwood, Fla., Shirley S. Malik of Winter Park, Fla., and Wanda S. Ferguson of Fort Myers, Fla.; two sons: Jesse H. Scott of Cropwell, Ala., and Warren W. Scott of Asheville, N.C.; one sister: Nora H. Ham of Franklin. Mrs. Scott was predeceased by one son: Ritchie Scott. Other survivors include 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. 

The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Sunday in the Hunterdale United Church of Christ by the Rev. James X. Camak. The burial will be in Poplar Spring Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Wright Funeral Home from 4 to 6 p.m. today and suggests memorial donations be made to the church.
