Betty Coggsdale Runyon, 68, widow of Bill Runyon, died March 5, 2004, at
Obici Hospital. Betty was the retired deli manager for Redds Supermarket
in Windsor.
Survivors include her mother, Gladys Coggsdale Gardner of Suffolk; a
son, Joseph Mayton Branch Jr. of Windsor; a brother, James A. Coggsdale
Jr. and wife, Shirley of Hopewell; two granddaughters, Amy Lynn Branch
and Karen Renee Branch, both of Smithfield; and several nieces and
nephews. She was predeceased by her father, James A. Coggsdale Sr.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in Southampton
Memorial Park with the Rev. David Johnson officiating. The family will
receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at Wright Funeral Home,
Franklin.
