John William Rollison, Jr., 71, died Saturday, Nov. 12, 1994, at the East Pavilion, Franklin. Mr. Rollison was a native of Southampton County and was the son of the late John William and Martha Eugenia Williams Rollison. Mr. Rollison had retired as a Vice President of Dominion Bank, formerly Southampton County Bank, Courtland . He was a member of Emmanuel Episcopal Church, Franklin, and attended Randolph-Macon College, Ashland, Va. He was a charter member of the Courtland Volunteer Rescue Squad, Southampton County Historical Society, a former member of the Courtland Town Council and a former member of the Courtland Ruritan Club. 

A graveside funeral will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday, Nov. 14, 1994, at Riverside Cemetery , Courtland , with the Rev. Edmund Pickup officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Courtland Volunteer Rescue Squad or a favorite charity. Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, is handling arrangements.
