Obituary of Anna Jean "Angie" Binsbacher Rhodes ANNA JEAN BINSBACHER RHODES Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - July 11, 1999 Anna Jean ``Angie'' Binsbacher Rhodes, 56, a resident of Zuni and a former resident of Virginia Beach for many years, died Wednesday, July 7, 1999, as the result of injuries sustained in a multi-vehicle accident on Route 460 near Zuni. Born on Jan. 5, 1943, in Stanton, Mo., she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Anna Hamm Binsbacher. She retired in 1997 as office manager of Applied Management Engineering in Virginia Beach after 15 years of service. She is survived by her husband, Emerson Bruce ``Dusty'' Rhodes; a daughter, Kandace R. Sherrill and her husband, Calvin E. Sherrill, of Norfolk; two stepdaughters, Andrea R. Harris and her husband, Chris, of Suffolk and Tracy McAlphin and her husband, Robert, of Chesapeake; a stepson, Dana Rhodes and his wife, Krissy, of Chesapeake; a brother, Herbert Binsbacher of Gravois Mills, Mo.; seven grandchildren, Nicholas Weber, Alexander Harris, Chelsea Rhodes, Katie Rhodes, Scottie Rhodes, Alana McAlphin and Amanda McAlphin. Dr. Chreston Holoman will hold a funeral service on Monday, July 12, 1999, at 11 a.m. in Emmaus Foursquare Church, Chesapeake. Burial will be in Windsor Cemetery , Windsor, Va. The family will receive friends at Emmaus Foursquare Church, Chesapeake, today, July 11, 1999, from 4 to 6 p.m. and at other times at the residence, 22474 Thomas Woods Trail, Zuni.
