Mr. Revels was born in Galveston, Texas, and was in the Navy for 23 years. Survivors include his wife, Lynn Revels; two daughters, Laurie K. Revels of Concord, Calif., and Tiffany J. Revels of Boykins; two sons, Christopher J. Revels and Benjamin W. Revels, both of Boykins; his mother, Opal L. Guthrie Revels of Abilene, Texas; and two brothers, Steven Revels of Baton Rouge, La., and Robert Revels of Noble, Okla. The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Naval Amphibious Base Chapel, Little Creek, by the Rev. James F. Mennis. Burial will be in Hampton National Cemetery.
