Obituary of REBA F. REES Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - October 15, 1996 Reba Falwell Rees, 88, formerly of Summersville, W.Va., died Sunday Oct. 13, 1996, at Southampton Memorial Hospital. She was born Feb. 29, 1908, in Huntington, W.Va., and was the daughter of the late Jackson and Ellen Johnston Falwell. Mrs. Rees, an alumnae of Marshall University, taught school in West Virginia prior to her marriage. She was a charter member of the Summersville Presbyterian Church. She was a past member of the Garden Club of W.Va. and was active in the American Red Cross. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Theodore Rees. She is survived by a daughter, Carole Rees Moyler, and son-in-law, James Edward Moyler Jr.; three grandchildren, James Edward Moyler III of Richmond, Rees Moyler Johnston of Pawley's Island, S.C., Amelia Moyler McCarthy of Pittsburgh, Pa., as well as seven great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. today in Poplar Spring Cemetery by the Rev. James Lambeth and the Rev. Edward Johnson. Wright Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
