Lawrence Robert Powers, 79, of 22291 Sedley Road, died July 14, 1993. 

Mr. Powers was born in Fall River, Mass., and was a retired sales representative for Union Camp Corp. He was a member of Franklin Presbyterian Church, board member of the James L. Camp Y.M.C.A., and member of Franklin Masonic Lodge (NU)151, A.F. & A.M. 

Survivors include his wife, Audrey Buchanan Powers; two daughters, Linda Powers Critzer of Mequon, Wis., and Susan Powers Vosters of Stuart, Fla.; one son, Capt. Robert L. Powers, U.S.N. (Ret.) of Chesapeake; and seven grandchildren. 

A funeral will be conducted at 10a.m. Saturday in Franklin Presbyterian Church by Chaplain David M. Humphreys. Burial will be in Poplar Spring Cemetery with Masonic rites. The family will receive friends at the residence. Wright Funeral Home is handling arrangements. 

The family suggests memorials be made to Franklin Presbyterian Church or the James L. Camp Y.M.C.A.
