††Mrs. Poland was a member of First Baptist Church and Sinai Chapter No. 18, Order of the Eastern Star where she was a former Worthy Matron.
††She is survived by her loving grandchildren, ran Weaver of Yorktown, grandson and his wife, Gene and Brenda Weaver of Suffolk; great grandson, Brennan Weaver of Suffolk. She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Judith of Weaver, her husbands, Willard Eugene Oliver and C. Emmett Piland, and her parents, William Littleton and Madora Saunders Cones.
††A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in The First Baptist Church by the Rev. Charles W. Thompson with burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends in her home, 104 Oliver St. R.W. Baker and Company Funeral Home is in charge.

Mrs. Piland was a member of First Baptist Church and Sinai Chapter No. 18, Order of the Eastern Star, where she was a former Worthy Matron.  

She is survived by her loving grandchildren, Fran Weaver of Yorktown; grandson and his wife, Gene and Brenda Weaver of Suffolk; great grandson, Brennan Weaver of Suffolk. She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Judith Weaver; her husbands, Willard Eugene Oliver and C. Emmett Piland; and her parents, William Littleton and Madora Saunders Cones.  

A funeral was conducted at 11 a.m. Monday [13 July 1998] in The First Baptist Church by the Rev. Charles W. Thompson, with burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery. The family received friends in her home, 104 Oliver St. R.W. Baker and Company Funeral Home was in charge.
