Mildred Parker Patton, 87, a native of Franklin, died March 28, 1991, in a hospital. 

Mrs. Patton had retired as a clerk from Southern Bell Telephone Co. after 30 years. She was a Baptist. 

Survivors include two brothers, Gilbert H. Parker of Petersburg and Thomas L. Parker of Cameron, W.Va. 

The graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in Poplar Spring Cemetery, Franklin, by the Rev. Michael J. Clingenpeel. Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, is handling arrangements.
