Obituary of WADE H. PARKER The Virginian-Pilot (Norfolk, VA) - May 11, 1995 Wade Hampton Parker, 83, of 31471 Verna St., died Tuesday, May 9, 1995, at his home. Mr. Parker was born in Windsor, N.C., and was the son of the late Benjamin Franklin and Lucy Minton Parker. Mr. Parker was an Army veteran and Coast Guard veteran. He was retired from the bleaching department of Union Camp Corp. He was a member of Franklin Baptist Church, the Bruner Bible Class and the High Street Senior Citizens. Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Louise Smith Parker; one sister, Sadie Parker Kizer of Franklin; and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be conducted at 3 p.m. today in Poplar Spring Cemetery by Dr. Roy DeBrand and the Rev. Sharon James. Memorials may be made to Franklin Baptist Church.
