Mr. Padgett was born in Alcolu, S.C. He had retired from the Sheet Finishing Department of Union Camp. He was a member of South Quay Baptist Church. The funeral will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Monday in Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, by the Rev. Donald Trump and the Rev. Reginald Warren. Burial will be in Southampton Memorial Park .
