 Mildred Wills Overby, 82, of Southampton Street, died Oct. 19, 1992, in a hospital. 
Mrs. Overby was born in Victoria, Va. She was the widow of Willie David Overby. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. 
Survivors include two daughters, Patricia O. Bradley of Emporia and Myrtis O. Vaughan of Capron; a sister, Virginia W. Carpenter of Emporia; two grandchildren and a great-grandchild. 
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Calvary Baptist Church by the Rev. Barry Chambers and the Rev. Roger Welcher. Burial will be at 3:30 p.m. in Beechwood Cemetery, Boykins. Friends may join the family from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today in McDowell Funeral Home, Boykins.
