C. Edward Neave Jr., 69, a retired mechanic, died July 17, 1991, in a Franklin hospital. 

Mr. Neave was born in Southampton County. He was a member of Corinth Friends Meeting. 

Survivors include his wife, Frances Raiford Neave; two daughters, Sue N. Grizzard of Ivor and Melissa N. Darden of Franklin; a son, C. Phillip Neave of Ivor; and six grandchildren. 

The graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Ivor Cemetery by Cafer Marley and Hershel M. Hill. Friends may join the family at the residence. Purviance Funeral Home, Wakefield, is handling arrangements. 

Memorial donations may be made to Corinth Friends Meeting or to a favorite charity.
