Obituary of Billy Harold Musick BILLY HAROLD MUSICK Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - August 26, 2004 Billy H. Musick, 76, went to be with the Lord on Aug. 25, 2004, at Obici Hospital, Suffolk. He was born in Russell County, Va., and was a graduate of Bramwell High School. His parents, Maxey and George W. Musick and brother, George R. Musick predeceased him. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and retired from Norfolk and Western Railroad after 44 years of loyal service. A member of Tucker Swamp Baptist Church, he had a great love for gardening and sharing with everyone. His garden buddy was "BoBo" his beloved dog. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary E. Musick; two sisters, Helen Musick of Bluefield, W.Va., and Mildred Dowdy of Vinton, Va.; one daughter, Darlene McManus of Windsor; two grandsons, Michael and Chris; and four great-grandchildren. The funeral will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Sidney F. Harrell Chapel of Harrell and Hill Funeral Home by Dr. Rob Edwards and Pastor Carter Dey. Burial will follow in Windsor Cemetery . Friends may join the family at the funeral home Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. for visitation. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Tucker Swamp Baptist Church, Building Fund, 37527 Seacock Chapel Road, Zuni, VA 23898.
