Liola "Betty" Hawkins Bond Moss, 76, died Feb. 13, 1995. 

Mrs. Moss was the daughter of the late Carl Lee Hawkins and Vera Vivian Hawkins. 

Survivors include two sons, Edward O. Bond and Carl A. Bond; three brothers, Carl B. Hawkins of Elkhart, Ind., W.P. Hawkins of Mooresville, N.C. and V.A. Hawkins of Newport News; four granddaughters, Karen Bond, Elizabeth Graff, Amy Bond and Suzan Bond; and three great-grandsons. 

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Hatcher Memorial Baptist Church, Richmond, by the Rev. Zane Grey Ross. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery , Courtland , at 3 p.m. Friends may call today from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in Joseph W. Bliley Funeral Home, Staples Mill Chapel, Richmond. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Tuckahoe Volunteer Rescue Squad or Courtland Volunteer Rescue Squad.
